Hello, Everyone! I have been away from home for a week, and I am excited to get back into my craft room. My friend recently asked me to make her some cards that she could send to her daughter, who will be at camp this summer. I couldn’t think of any cuter images to use than these little girls from Penguin Palace. I made three square cards. Each card features colored paper strips, Copic colored images, enamel dots, and summer-themed sentiments.
Stay Sweet
For my first card, I featured the little girl eating watermelon from the Summer Sunshine stamp set. I picked colored paper that would reference the layers of a watermelon. The sentiment comes from the Rabbit Cafe stamp set.
Summer
For my second card, I featured the little girl in a bathing suit from the Summer Sunshine stamp set. I picked colored paper that would reference the water and sand. The sentiment comes from the same stamp set.
Sun-kissed
For my third card, I featured one of the little girls from the new Aloha Hawaii stamp set. I chose colors from both of the other cards in order to tie the three together. The sentiment comes from the Summer Sunshine stamp set
These cards are simple and sweet, and they were a joy to make. It was the perfect way to ease back into my craft room after going through withdrawal for a week! Be sure to check out all of the adorable products in the Penguin Palace online shop.
Wishing you all a crafty day!
Allison
