Hello, Everyone! I have a fun camp themed card to share with you today featuring images from one of Penguin Palace’s new stamp sets, Bond With Nature Canada

Summer Camp
My son is getting ready to leave for overnight camp in a few weeks, and I like to send him cards while he’s there. I LOVE anything related to camp, having gone to overnight camp myself as a kid. S’mores, tents, mountains, campfire…this stamp set is right up my alley.

Making the Card
I started out by stamping all of the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink so that I could color them with my Copic markers. These images were a lot of fun to color. I changed the girl from the stamp set into a boy. I just lopped off her braid and put my son’s camp initial on the hat! When I was finished coloring, I used the matching dies to cut the images out.
I recently ran across this cover die from MFT that had been buried underneath a pile of stuff in my craft room. I figured it was a good time to finally put it to use! I started playing around with the position of all my images and decided to add in a few things from the Fun Adventure stamp set, including the “Adventure” sentiment. This is one of my favorite stamp sets from Penguin Palace. I also decided to add in a bucket of fish from an MFT stamp set.

This card was fun to make, and I know it will put a smile on my son’s face when he receives it in the mail.  Be sure to check out all of the adorable products in the Penguin Palace online shop.

Wishing you all a crafty day!

Allison
