Greetings, Everyone! Today I am sharing this fun Halloween card featuring products from Penguin Palace. I chose to go with a nontraditional palette for my card, although the rainbow colors are very subtle.
I started out with a standard A2 white card base. I cut strips of white card stock using the long sentiment die from the Cinematic Shadow Box die set. I then lightly blended some distress ink along the edges of each strip, going in rainbow order. I arranged the strips on the card base to look like mummy wrap, and then I popped them up on foam tape.
I stamped and colored five of the mummies from the Mysterious Egypt stamp set with Copic markers. Again, I just added a very subtle amount of color along the shadow lines of the image.I cut them out with the matching die and glued them to the bottom half of the card. This mummy image is so adorable!
I cut the letters from black card stock using the Simple Serif die set from Concord & 9th. The “haunting” sentiment comes from Pink & Main’s Fall Sentiments stamp set.
To finish the card, I tucked some tiny black jewels under the edges of some of the strips.
Thanks for joining me today. Be sure to check out all of the adorable products in the Penguin Palace online shop.
Wishing you all a crafty day!
Allison
