Hello, Friends! I am back to share another card that I made from my weekend of playing with the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System. In my last post, I mentioned that I had saved the second butterfly that I had foiled with the Butterflies Hot Foil Plate by Pinkfresh Studio. Well, here it is!
I started this card by cutting a panel of white card stock with the Pinkfresh Studio Ornate Floral Die. I adhered that to a white A2 card base and then splattered it with some gold metallic watercolor.
I lightly blended some Pinkfresh Studio inks over the butterfly in the following colors: Grassy Knoll, Marigold, and Raspberry Bliss. I adhered the butterfly to the card base with some foam tape and then glued some gold jewels to its body/head. Look at that shine!
As with yesterday’s card, the sentiment for this one also comes from the Spellbinders Yana’s Special Sentiments hot foil plate. To finish the card, I scattered some different colored jewels from the Pinkfresh Studio Essentials Jewels Mix.
I love how this card turned out, and I am finding these butterflies (and hot foiling) to be pretty addicting! Thanks for joining me, and I’ll see you next time.
Wishing you all a crafty day!
Allison
