Hello, Friends! I have a very quick card to share with you today. It is really dreary here in Colorado, which is pretty rare. But it seemed like the perfect time to use this new Repeating Rainbows stamp I just got from Simon Says Stamp.
Supplies
Simon Says Stamp – Repeating Rainbows background stamp
Simon Says Stamp – Good Vibes die
Tim Holtz – Mini Distress Ink Pads
Gina K – White Embossing Powder
Pretty Pink Posh – Sparkling Clear Sequins
Making the Card
This card came together very quickly, which is great when you’re trying to get back into the swing of things! I used Versamark ink to stamp a panel of white card stock with the Repeating Rainbows stamp and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I then blended three colors of Distress Ink – Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, and Broken China. These are three of my favorite colors for creating a nice rainbow blend. I tried to keep the more intense color around the area where the sentiment would be and then faded it out as I got to the edges of the panel.
I used the Good Vibes die to cut the words from the center of my inked panel and then glued those to the shadow that I had cut from white card stock. I glued that back into the center of my panel and then scattered some sequins around the sentiment. Easy peasy!
If you also needed some good vibes today, I hope this did the trick. Thanks so much for joining me, and I’ll see you again next time.
Wishing you all a crafty day,
Allison
