Hello, friends! It’s finally here! The 2023 STAMPtember® celebration from Simon Says Stamp ! As always, Simon is kicking things off with its own brand new Stamptember Collection. I had so much fun creating with the products that I received (thank you, Simon)!! The first card that I’m going to share with you is a spooky fun Halloween card. I will share pictures of my other cards, but I’ll save the details for later posts and videos. I do have a YouTube video for today’s card – you can view that below or head over to YouTube.
If you’re not familiar with what STAMPtember® is, it is a month long celebration of stamping and creating. Simon Says Stamp kicks off the celebrations each year by releasing their collection of goodies on September 1st. Throughout the month, they also release exclusive products that are made in collaboration with other companies. These are always hot commodities, and once they’re gone, they’re gone! The Simon-branded products that are released at the beginning of STAMPtember® do not go away, although they may briefly go out of stock at the beginning of the celebration.
Note: all supplies are linked in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.
My card for today features the new Friendly Ghosts stamp and die set. You can buy the stamps and dies separately, as well. This is a layering stamp set, and I used Distress Oxide Inks on Kraft card stock. The ghosts themselves were stamped with white pigment ink. The “Spooky Salutations” sentiment is from the same stamp set. I didn’t mention it in the video, but I heat embossed that sentiment onto black card stock with white embossing powder and cut it out with the matching die. I love when sentiments have matching dies!
For the background, I used the Layered Spooky Icons Stencil set. This set is from last year, but I still love it! I used the Outline Halloween die to ground my sentiment and to partially mute the background by cutting the shadow layer from vellum. I cut the frame using one of my favorite stitched frames set.
I will be sharing another Halloween card tomorrow. I gave a little sneak peek of this in today’s video. This card features the new Happy Happy Halloween Die.
The next three cards feature the new Snowflake Circles Stamp set, which I’ll be featuring in a video soon. I have a couple other cards that I’m working on that use this fun, versatile set, too! The card above also uses the Repeating Circles Die Set.
In addition to the Snowflake Circles, the card above features the brand new set of Pawsitively Saturated Ink Cubes! This is the Purple Fields set. Other products used on this card are the You’re Out of This World die and the Sparkling Facets Embossing Folder.
For the card above, I stamped the Snowflake Circles using a masking technique and the new Lined Arches Stencil. Hopefully, you get the idea that I was trying to make a faux snowglobe!
My last card to share with you today features the new Intersecting Lines Cling Stamp. You know that I can’t resist pulling out my shimmer powders whenever I get a new cling stamp!
I hope you’re excited for more things to come this month, and I also hope that these cards put a smile on your face today. Be sure to check out all of the other goodies and inspiration from the new Stamptember Release ! As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog today.
Wishing you all a crafty day,
Allison

Such a cute Halloween card. Love that you did it on kraft and that you combined old products with the new. Thanks, too, for giving us “permission” to stamp the shadows first. With this stamp set it does look easier. Yes, I do send Halloween cards – about 40 each year to family and a few friends. It’s so much fun and the recipients seem to enjoy them.
Wow! 40 Halloween cards!? I really should start sending more out this year. Thank you so much for watching the video, Michele!
Love Stampember!!! Halloween is one of my favorite seasons. Thanks for the video! Love your Halloween card!!
Thank you so much, Joianne. I hope you enjoy Stamptember!
What great cards! I love the snow globe–simple, but so effective! The intersecting lines card is outstanding! I love the colors!
