Hello, friends. I hope you have all been doing well. It is December, and the holidays are upon us! I have been busy in my craft room, but this time of year is always so crazy that it’s been difficult to share much. At least I am more timely this month in announcing that the Spellbinders Monthly Clubs are here, and it’s time for new members to sign up! This month’s clubs are all about love. I know a lot of people are finished with their holiday cards and are ready to start making Valentine’s and spring cards. Not me! I’m still in Christmas mode (i.e., I am way behind). Who’s with me?

UPDATE ON 11/1/24: As of today, the Cheers to Us set and the Sneaking a Kiss set are now available in regular inventory! Not sure how long that will last!

Today’s blog is all about the  Large Die of the Month called “Cheers to Us”.  I will also be adding a reel to my instagram page for this month’s Small Die of the Month kit, which is so adorable! You can see a picture of that card at the end of this post.

I do have a video showing how I made today’s card, using the Large Die. You can CLICK HERE to view on YouTube or watch it below.

Note: all supplies are linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.

The Large Die of the Month  for December is named “Cheers To Us.” This kit has so much potential and versatility, as it can be used for New Years, anniversaries, Valentine’s Day, birthdays, etc. You name the occasion, and I bet you could make a card for it with this kit! Since I am still in Christmas mode, that is the direction I chose to go with for my card. I hope you’ll agree that it’s really festive and fun!

Even though this die kit has everything you need to make cards for many occasions, I added a few things from other die sets to give my card that festive holiday look. I personally like finding ways to make use of my everyday sets when I receive my club kits. The strands of lights on the wine bottle come from the More Holiday Decorations set. The reindeer antlers on the wine glass come from the Santa’s Festive Circle Crew set. The small holly and berries come from the Dancin’ Figgy Pudding set. Finally, the sentiment on the wine bottle label comes from Tim Holtz’s Bold Tidings Mini stamp set.

The card above features the Small Die of the Month, which is called “Sneaking a Kiss.” Isn’t it absolutely adorable? I embossed the card base with the Raindrops 3D Embossing Folder and added a stamped sentiment from my stash.

I hope these cards put a smile on your face today. As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog.

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison
