Hello, friends! I hope you are all having a terrific week! I have some more cards to share today featuring the new Windows with a View Collection from Spellbinders. I wanted to just make some quick, fun cards, and one way to make things easier is to use patterned paper. Window scenes are great for using patterned paper because you have an internal and external view with the window, whether you’re looking inside or outside. Also, I just love any opportunity to use my patterned paper!
I have a new video on YouTube showing these cards. Two of these cards are shakers, and they’re both made in a different way, so you’ll definitely want to watch! You can view the video below or head over to YouTube.
My cards feature the following main products from the Windows With a View Collection. I am also listing the patterned paper that I used for today’s cards. These, as well as all other supplies, are linked in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.
- Vista View Die Set
- Up in the Air View Die Set
- Half-Half Dots Enchanted Paper Pad
- Wood Textures Paper Pad
- Starry Night Paper Pack
- Winter Splash Quick Card Backgrounds
My first card features the adorable bunny and carrots from the February 2024 Large Die of the Month kit. The perfectly appropriate sentiment is from the Reverse Some Bunny Sentiment Strips from Simon Says Stamp.
This next card is a shaker card and was so easy to make! I love the little kitty staring out the window at the moon. While I did add little star confetti bits to the shaker, I love how the patterned paper in the background has a starry sky. So, even when the shaker bits fall to the bottom, you still get that beautiful view!
My last card just makes me yearn for a mountain cabin of my own. Can’t you just imagine yourself in front of a fire looking out at that peaceful view? I added some Christmas decor to the top of the window and some snowy shaker bits to complete the scene.
I had a lot of fun creating my cards for today, and I hope they put a smile on your face. Thank you so much for visiting my blog today.
Wishing you all a crafty day,
Allison
