Hello, friends! I am excited to share my cards featuring the June 2024 Spellbinders Monthly Clubs! This month’s kits are all about summer – yay! There are beach chairs, floaties, ice cream, and so much more. One of my favorite aspects of the Spellbinders clubs is that you can cancel at any time. If you don’t like the club kit next month, just cancel it! The subscription window for new members ends on the 27th of the month, assuming that the club kit(s) has not already sold out. One of the other great benefits to being a club member is that you have early access to new products before they become available to the general public!
For today’s cards, I will be using the Large Die of the Month and the Small Die of the Month . Both of these kits are really fun, and I still have more cards planned for when I find the time.
If you’re a fan of all (or even most) of the clubs, you might be interested in the Deluxe Caboodle Value Club. This club is offered at an exceptional value and includes all ten clubs PLUS a bonus item. For June, the bonus item is the “Summertime Slice” die set, which is an adorable little dancing watermelon, complete with sunglasses. This bonus item is only available to members of this Deluxe Club. I hope to make something with the watermelon soon!

Let’s get to the cards that I made! I have a new video sharing the process for each card. You can CLICK HERE to view on YouTube or watch it below.
NOTE: all supplies are linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.
For my first card, I used the Large Die of the Month “Summertime Vacay” to create the beach chairs and umbrella. I kept all my die cutting clean and simple today – no ink blending. The exception to that is the bottom layer of the umbrella, which I did add shading to. This card is slimline – 3.5″ x 8.5″, and I used the Postage Edge Slimlines Die Set for the layers. The stamped sentiment is from an Alex Syberia Designs stamp set called Sunkissed Memories. I have had this stamp set for about a year now, and I’m excited to finally start using it! (Yes, I am behind on getting through my stash).
My second card looks like a postcard on a stamp, right? All of the elements come from the Large Die kit, except for the “chill” word, which comes from the Small Die of the Month. This is a shaped card, which I made with the largest die from the Nested Postage Labels & Tag die set. The little sub sentiments are from the Reverse Chill Summer Sentiment Strips from Simon Says Stamp.
This last card is a bit silly, but also really cute. And, it was fun to make. The floaties are from the Small Die of the Month, which is called “Summertime Wade Pool”. You can watch the video to see how I created those waves! Aren’t they fun? The “Happy Summer” comes from the same Reverse Chill Summer Sentiment Strips that I used on my second card.
I hope these cards bring a smile to your face today. As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog.
Wishing you all a crafty day,
Allison
