Hello, friends! I hope you are all doing well. I am excited to share my cards featuring the September 2024 Spellbinders Monthly Clubs. This month’s clubs feature an autumn theme, which I absolutely love. If only Colorado realized that it was time for Autumn already! I am ready for some cool weather and some pumpkin spice!

As you already know, I love Spellbinders clubs. One of my favorite aspects of the their clubs is that you can cancel at any time. If you don’t like the club kit next month, just cancel it! The subscription window for new members ends on the 27th of the month, assuming that the club kit(s) has not already sold out. One of the other great benefits to being a club member is that you have early access to new products before they become available to the general public! You also get bonus offers and certain discounts that are only available to club members.

If you’re a fan of all (or even most) of the clubs, you might be interested in the Deluxe Caboodle Value Club. This club is offered at an exceptional value and includes all ten clubs PLUS a bonus item. For September, the bonus die is called Hoppy Halloween, and it’s absolutely adorable. You’ll see a card that I made with that die set at the end of this blog post. Not that this die is only available to members of this Deluxe Club.

SPELLBINDERS SALE!: There is a “TOOL-TACULAR EXTRAVAGANZA” at Spellbinders right now where you can save up to 25% Off (or more) on select products. This includes die cutting machines, the Glimmer Hot Foil System, the BetterPress Letterpress System, paper trimmers, punches, scissors, brushes, and on and on! NOTE: This sale ends on September 8th, 2024.

For today’s cards, I will be featuring the Large Die of the Month and the Small Die of the Month. I have a new video sharing my cards. You can CLICK HERE to view on YouTube or watch it below.

NOTE: all supplies are linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.

For my first card, I used the Small Die of the Month “Autumn Scare Crow”. I used some really fun textile from Tim Holtz called “Textile Surfaces” to die cut the overalls and the hat. This textile pack has been in my stash forever, and I was really excited to finally find the perfect use for it. Unfortunately, it is no longer available for sale. But, there are definitely all kinds of patterned paper that have denim or other fabric textures that you could use. If it wasn’t obvious from this card, I was playing a lot with patterned paper for my cards today! I just had to use that fun bird paper in the background. This is from the Mountain Trek 2.0 pack from Paper Rose. If this scarecrow wasn’t so cute, maybe it would scare all those crows away! Alas, this cutie has his work cut out for him!

I just had to make a second card with this adorable scarecrow because I really wanted to make a clean and simple design. He is really just so fun to make! You’ll see that my other two cards below are also clean and simple. Again, I used some of that Tim Holtz textiles for the overalls and hat. I used some plaid paper from Memory Box for the card base and details on the scarecrow. The white panel with the fun detailed border is from the Perfect Touch Rectangles die set. The sentiment comes from a Spellbinders stamp set called Boo Dance Party Sentiments, which unfortunately is no longer available. I absolutely love this stamp set, and I wish it wasn’t retired! I feel like Spellbinders may not restock stamps sets as much as they do their die sets. So, if you see a stamp set that you like, buy it when you see it instead of waiting!

My next card features the Large Die of the Month, which is called “Picture Perfect Autumn”. Again, I really wanted a clean and simple look, so I simply ink blended the sky and grass and added my die cuts. You can see in my video how I ink blended that sky and grass. There are all sorts of fun dies in this set that I did not use, including a tree, sunflower, sun and dies that create hills. I did use one of the hill dies on my first card with the scarecrow. And I did add some birds to this card from another set called Guiding Light

One thing I forgot to mention in the video is the sentiment. This sentiment comes from a stamp set called All Seasons Sentiments. This sentiment is also available as part of a BetterPress plate and die set called All Seasons Autumn Sentiments

My last card is the one that I made using that Hoppy Halloween set, which again is the bonus die you get if you sign up for the Deluxe Caboodle Value Club. Isn’t this frog so adorable? I used some plaid paper from Memory Box for the card base. The pumpkins come from the Large Die kit, and the bats come from the Small Die kit. The white panel is from the same die from the Perfect Touch Rectangles set that I used for the scarecrow card above. The stamped sentiment is from a set that I found in my stash.

I hope these cards bring a smile to your face today. As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog!

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison
