Hello, friends! I hope you are all doing well. Today, I am sharing three cards that I made using three main products…a bundle of products, actually. These feature the Sketched Poinsettia Bundle, which was part of Waffle Flower’s Christmas in July collection. There is a stamp set, layering stencil set, and a matching die set, and while each of these are also sold separately, I do love how Waffle Flower offers bundles of products at a discount!

I have a new video sharing how all of these cards came together. You can CLICK HERE to view on YouTube or watch it below.

For all of my cards today, I used the same colors of ink for my stenciled poinsettias. I used PinkFresh Cherry Blossom, Peony, Limoncello, and Bay Leaf, as well as Altenew Frayed Leaf and Forest Glades. This first card features a bit of a different take on the Postage Collage Die, where I used it to pop up various parts of the poinsettia onto a second, duplicate panel. To add some more postage flair, I stamped some elements from the Oversized Postage Stamp Set

For my second card, I used a piece of patterned paper from the Season’s Greetings Paper Pad as the background of my card. I die cut the poinsettia using the matching die set, and I added that to a vellum panel, which tones down the background a bit. The sentiment comes from the Family Christmas Sentiments Combo, which includes a stamp set and matching die set (again, both are also sold separately).

I wanted this last card to have the feel of an old letter or postcard, so I first stamped a panel with the Old Letter stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. I added that to a black panel that I had cut with the Deckled Frames Die from Waffle Flower. The larger gray card base is also “deckled” – I used my Tim Holtz Deckle Trimmer to achieve that. This is a larger card – it’s roughly 5″ x 6.25″. The stamp in the upper corner comes from the Postage Collage Poinsettia Stencil. The “Season’s Greetings” sentiment comes from the Sketched Poinsettia Stamp Set (the same set as the poinsettia that is featured on all of my cards). The matching die for that sentiment is included in the matching die set. I love how the scripty font of the sentiment ties in with the script in the background.

I know I said that I had a trio of cards, but I wanted to share this card that I made a few months ago. As I mentioned above, these products were all part of the Christmas in July collection from Waffle Flower. I have had these products on my desk and have been trying to find time to play with them all, but this is the first one that I was able to make back when I first got everything. This card features a poinsettia, as well, but this time it’s a die cut poinsettia. You know me – I love die cutting! This is the Poinsettia Cluster Die, and all of the greenery that you see on the card is from that die set. I used the same sentiment from the Family Christmas Sentiments Combo

I hope these cards bring a smile to your face today. As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog.

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison
