Hello, friends! I am excited to be sharing some cards that I have made with the new To Love release from Simon Says Stamp! Flowers, hearts, glitter, and even some Yetis – oh my! Get ready to feel the love.

NOTE: all supplies are linked in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.

My first card features the new Falling in Love Foil Transfer Cards. Rather than foil the card, I left the bold black and white design. I used the outline layer from the Fancy Love die to cut an opening in the panel, and then I adhered the panel to a dark pink card base. I then popped up the pink “love” that I cut using the main Fancy Love die. I added a little white heart and the “swak” sentiment on top, and yes it’s simple, but I love it! By the way, if you’re not into foiling but you love this design, it’s also available as a stencil!

My next card features two new products – the Harlequin Heart Stamp and the Friends Furever Stamp Set. I stamped the Harlequin stamp in yellow ink onto yellow card stock to get this fabulous tone on tone look. Even though this is a heart pattern, I think the tone on tone look can be used for any occasion, and I can’t wait to make other colored backgrounds with this stamp. For the kitty from the Friends Furever set, I stamped it onto watercolor paper and colored it with my ZIGs. I used a tag die to cut it out, added a little topper and tag reinforcer (with some circle dies) and popped it up onto my card panel with foam tape. The sentiment is also from the Friends Furever set. So cute, right?

My last card features the new Exotic Blooms die set. I cut the flowers from some light coral card stock and added some shading with ink. I also added some yellow gems for details on the flowers. As for the background, this was something that I created probably several years ago and never knew what to do with. I was finally inspired to use it, which just goes to show you that you should never throw your backgrounds out! I cut the panel down so that it would fit just inside of the openings in the Whirl Diamond Plate, which I had cut from yellow card stock. The little sentiments both come from another new stamp set called Love Letter

I hope these cards bring a smile to your face today. As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog today.

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison
