Hello, friends! I am back today sharing another fun collection from Spellbinders. There are just so many this month, and I have been busy and enjoying the inspiration! This time, I am sharing the Jack of All Trades Collection. I will admit that this collection appealed to me for personal reasons. One of the cards that I created was for my son’s 16th birthday, and I explain the meaning behind it in my new YouTube video! I also talk about some die cutting tips and how I keep my die cuts looking nice and clean. I think this collection is so fun for anyone who likes card games, and who doesn’t like card games? People who love Vegas would also have fun with these products.

The main products that I used for these cards are:

Deluxe Deck Press Plate
Reversible Royal Court Die Set
Pip & Rank Dies

Shuffling Sentiments Press Plate & Die Set

Let’s move on to the cards! Like I mentioned above, I have a new video sharing how I made these. You can CLICK HERE to view on YouTube or watch it below.

NOTE: all supplies are linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.

My first card is the one that I made for my son’s birthday. I inked up the Deluxe Deck Press Plate with Iris ink from Simon Says Stamp. I cut small white rectangles and created the rounded corners with my little 1-2 Punch. The suits and numbers on the playing cards come from the Pip & Rank Dies. I hot foiled the sentiment using the Shuffling Sentiments Press Plate & Die Set. Again, you can watch the video to hear why this card has special meaning.

My second card was so much fun to make, especially because I love die cutting and putting together all kinds of little dies to create details like this! The background is once again the Deluxe Deck Press Plate, which I inked up with Candy Violet ink from PinkFresh Studio. The character is from the Reversible Royal Court Die Set. There is an endless amount of characters that you can create from this set, and I love that you can use them even on cards without a “card” theme. I used the 1-2 Punch and the Pip & Rank Dies again to complete the details on the card. I thought it would be “punny” to pull out this sentiment from the Christmas Sentiments Press Plate – I think it’s so fitting! Plus, I love getting more use out of holiday sets.

I hope these cards bring a smile to your face today. Leave me a comment and let me know which card is your favorite! As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog.

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison
