Hello, friends! Today, I am sharing several projects that I made using patterned paper and ephemera from the Say Cheese Classic Pooh collaboration from Spellbinders and Simple Stories. I am still having so much fun with all of these products, and I thought I would branch out beyond cards and make some little gift holders that are sure to bring a smile to the recipients’ faces. But don’t worry, I also have a really special card to share!
I used the following products from the collection for these projects:
- Say Cheese Classic Pooh Collection Kit
- Say Cheese Classic Pooh Sentiment Bits & Pieces
- Say Cheese Classic Pooh Bits & Pieces
- Pooh & Piglet
I also have a fun project featuring the new Bougie Birthday Collection, where I stretched the use of my supplies in a really unique way. You can see that project at the end of this post.
I do have a new video showing how I made all of my projects today. You can CLICK HERE to watch on YouTube, or you can view below.
NOTE: all supplies are linked in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.
My first project features some adorable Ribbon Boxes that I made with the paper and some of the ephemera. I show these boxes in the video, but as far as how to assemble the actual boxes, you can CLICK HERE to watch a video where I introduced them. These are just so adorable, right?
My second project is a gift card holder, again using some of the paper and ephemera. The “time for a little something” sentiment comes from the Silly Old Bear Sentiments Press Plate & Die set. I did hot foil this press plate with red foil. I love how the double sided paper works so well with this Treat Yourself Gift Card Holder die, since the little part at the bottom folds up from the opposite side of the paper.
I tied a soft, fuzzy red ribbon around the gift card holder and attached one of the pieces of ephemera to it. The fuzzy ribbon makes me think of the soft little Pooh Bears that my mom used to make when I was little. And how cute is that little Pooh laying among the flowers?
Here is the card that I made, and I am absolutely in love with it. I used the Rainbow Slice Tunnel set from the Tunnel Scapes Collection to create the look of honey flowing into the pot. How lucky is he?? Endless honey! This card took some careful thought to figure out how to make it look like the honey was flowing into the pot. Be sure to check out the VIDEO to see how I did it! The Pooh and the honey pot come from the Pooh & Piglet die set. And of course, the paper and ephemera bees and sentiments come from the collection, as well. This bee paper was just too perfect!
Here is the fun project that I made with the new Bougie Birthday Collection. The Ganache Gateau die set from that collection has dies that create macarons. You say macaron, I say cheeseburger!! Am I the only one who sees strange things when I look at dies? These were fun to make and you can see me make them in the VIDEO. You’ll also see how I got sesame seeds from the UFO Friend Die Set!
I tied a fun string around the front of this gift card holder, as well. By the way, this Treat Yourself Gift Card Holder set is part of the Bougie Birthday Collection. The “for you” word dies are part of that die set. The “happy” word that I used inside the card holder is from the Birthday Cheers set. The Swiss Dot double sided paper that I used for this gift card holder is from Doodlebug Design.
That’s it for my projects today. I hope they put a smile on your face! As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog.
Wishing you all a crafty day,
Allison
