Hello, friends! It’s release day at Spellbinders, and not only is there a brand new collection of card stock, but there are some adorable new collections of dies and papers. I’ll share a lot of that today and over the next few weeks. Today, I am sharing all of the swatches that I have made with the new ColorWheel Cardstock Collection. This is a brand new release of 48 beautiful colors of 110lb card stock, along with some die and stamp sets to create swatches.
Along with my swatches, I have created some cards featuring two of the other releases:
In addition to all of the collections being released today, Spellbinders is having a “Sweetheart Sale,” featuring select products up to 50% off. This sale lasts until February 16, 2025 at 11:59 MST.
I do have a new video showing how I made my projects today. You can CLICK HERE to watch on YouTube, or you can view below.
NOTE: all supplies are linked in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.
As part of the ColorWheel Cardstock release, Spellbinders is offering some really great swatching die sets. The Color Swatch Petal, pictured above, is perfect for swatching out single colors of cardstock. These would also be great for swatching inks – just ink blend your inks onto some white cardstock. You could also swatch ink sprays, alcohol inks, specialty card stock…pretty much anything you’d want to swatch!
There is also the Color Swatch Wheel (pictured below), which is great for creating color palettes. Make palettes of your favorite color combos. You can use this to swatch ink color families, as well!
My first project features this adorable card that I created using the color inspiration from my Color Swatch Wheel. You may recognize this swatch as the one I used for my bunny cards featuring this month’s Large Die of the Month kit. I decided that these colors were just perfect for this card, as well. This card features the new On the Farm Collection. I used the pig and the sentiment from the Ham It Up set. The chicks come from the Spring Chicken set. Also featured are the new Perfect Touch Arches set and the Landscape Edges. I made a shaped card using the arches, and I created the scene using the hill and cloud edge dies. The speech bubble die is from the new Just Sayin’ Collection, which is what I feature on my next card.
My second project is a fun, quick card that I created using the new Just Sayin’ Collection. This collection is full of patterned paper, ephemera and some really fun die sets. You know I love patterned paper!
That’s it for my projects today. I hope they put a smile on your face! As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog.
Wishing you all a crafty day,
Allison
