Hello, friends! I hope your weekend is off to a great start. I am excited to be sharing some cards today featuring the new Blocks of Fun Release from Waffle Flower! As always, they have a really fun release, which I am still playing with. Fair warning – there will be more cards coming! This release is full of fun silhouette stamp sets perfect for creating little scenes, along with some really great additions to their popular Postage Collageā¢ collection. Several of these silhouette stamps are ideal for creating masculine cards, so it’s perfectly timed with Father’s Day coming up in a few months. There are some great envelope dies and also some options for creating seals that don’t involve hot wax! There is also a free gift with purchase that you won’t want to miss – see details below.
Free Gift:
Waffle Flower is offering a free gift when you purchase over $60 from the new release. The free gift is the adorable Postage Collage Miniature Die-n-stencil. NOTE: In order to receive the free gift, make sure to add the product to your cart and then apply code “G2504” during checkout.
Extra Savings:
If this is your first time ordering from Waffle Flower, and you use my links, you should receive an additional 10% savings!
Free Downloads:
Waffle Flower is now offering some free downloads that are associated with the popular Postage Collageā¢ Collection! The first is the Postage Collage Idea Sheets. These idea sheets show all the different themed stencils with samples and suggested ink colors. The second is the Postage Collage Checklist, which helps navigate all of the different product offerings in the collection. They are free to download, and I think these are a great idea.
Let’s get to my projects for today, which feature the following main products from the new release:
- Postage Collage A6 Blocks Die
- Postage Collage Mini Slimline Blocks Die
- Postage Collage Lake Sunset Stamp
- Postage Collage Tropical Sunset Stamp
- Postage Collage Forest Sunset Stamp
I do have a new video showing how I made my projects today. You can CLICK HERE to watch on YouTube, or you can view below.
NOTE: all supplies are linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.
My first card features the new Postage Collage Lake Sunset Stamp Set, along with one of the new blocks dies. The Postage Collage Blocks Die that coordinates with the original Postage Collage die was released last year (maybe even earlier than that). In this release, they are filling out the collection by adding the blocks dies for A6, A7, slimline and mini slimline. My card today features the Postage Collage A6 Blocks Die, and I did use it in combination with the Postage Collage A6 Die. You can see in the video how I inked up the little panels that this blocks die creates, and you can also see how I created my little silhouette scenes.
See my last card below, which shows how you can use the blocks dies on their own. They don’t have to be used with the original collage dies. They make a great frame on their own, and they can be used to create fun shaker cards.
If you are not into postage collage cards, or you just want to stretch the use of these new products, my second card features a fun use of the new silhouette stamps. This card features the Postage Collage Tropical Sunset Stamp. There are five silhouette stamp sets in this release! This one is great for summer themed cards and/or for people who love the beach. I used the Outlined Circles Die to feature my little scenes. This just shows you that you can do anything with these little silhouette stamps. And of course, I had to pull in my favorite patterned paper!
I am adding in a photo of the card that I finally completed. In the video, you’ll see what it looked like when it was 90% finished. I have a lot of 90% finished cards around my craft room – haha! This features the Postage Collage Mini Slimline Blocks Die and the Postage Collage Forest Sunset stamp set. This shows how you can use the blocks dies on their own as a frame. I even used one of the frames to highlight my sentiment, which comes from the Sweet Lattice Sentiments Stamp Set. For this silhouette stamping, I used dark brown ink instead of black, and I ink blended a beautiful blue to brown blend using Pinkfresh Studio inks in the following colors:
- Gathered Twigs
- Doe
- Warm Buff
- Atlantis
- Paradise
- Waterfall
That is it for my cards today. I hope they bring a smile to your face. As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog.
Wishing you all a crafty day,
Allison

I love that you used brown on your final card! I feel it is an underutilized color and it worked so well for your base. I always enjoy your color combos and the cards you create! Thank you for sharing them!
