Hello, Everyone! Today I am sharing this fun, interactive card featuring products from Penguin Palace. This card is sure to surprise the recipient!
The main focus of my card is the new Twist-n-Pop Surprise Die set. This makes an interactive card that pops up when you remove it from the envelope and can be displayed on a table top. Click here to see a video showing how this die set works.
I cut out the main mechanism and the polaroid frames from white card stock. I used some patterned paper for my decorative panels – pink and green are my favorite colors to use for Christmas cards! The penguin images come from the Penguin Agenda stamp set. I colored them with Copic Markers and then added the present, candy cane, and sentiments from my stash. The backgrounds of the Polaroid images were white heat embossed with a snowy background image and then ink blended with pink and green distress inks.
Instead of using the sentiment tabs that are part of the die set, I used a “Christmas” word die from my stash. I cut it out of white card stock and then added pink and green card stock behind the letter cutouts.
One of the best things about this die set is that the card fits perfectly into a 6″ square envelope.
I am so behind on my holiday cards for this year, so I’m really excited about this card – it is so easy and quick to put together!
Thanks for joining me today. Be sure to check out all of the adorable products in the Penguin Palace online shop.
Wishing you all a crafty day!
Allison
