Hello, friends! I am excited to share several cards featuring some new products from the Simon Says Stamp November 2023 release called “ All the Joy.” This is a beautiful release full of holiday products AND…some new ink pad colors! Six new colors, to be exact. There are new warm red tones, as well as some unique new green tones. These are full size pads, but like all of the other Pawsitively Saturated Inks, I expect that they will be releasing these in cubes at some point.

Details for each of my cards are below. However, I will be sharing most of these in future videos, so I’m only providing basic details below. For my video on YouTube today, I am sharing a new stencil set, which I foiled without using heat! You can view today’s video below or head over to YouTube.

Note: all supplies are linked in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.

My first card features the O Holy Night Stencils. This is a set of two stencils, and I thought it would be fun to foil. The foil I used is not the kind of foil you use with a hot foil machine. It is the kind that you use in a laminator. HOWEVER, if you have Transfer Gel Duo, you can stencil and foil without heat (no laminator needed), just by using a die cutting machine!

I used two colors of “Fancy Foils“. These foils are the result of a collaboration between Therm O Web and Gina K. Designs. There are other foils that work with the Transfer Gel Duo – you just have to make sure that you’re not using foil that is specifically for a hot foil machine (such as Spellbinders foil). I first foiled the stars with the Sparkling Silver foil. I then used the Glimmering Gold foil for the words. After foiling, I ink blended my panel with several blue shades of Distress Oxide Inks. You can watch my video to see which colors I used. I did accidentally leave out the footage where I finished the ink blending at the top with some Black Soot Distress Oxide. That’s always a good way to darken up any of your ink blends.

My second card features the fun Very Merry Cover Die. I made a shaker card. I have another shaker card that I made with this die and the new Not Quite a Dot Cling Stamp. I will be sharing both of the shakers in a video and blog post in a few days.

My last card features the new Soft Snowfall Embossing Folder. This was a really fun card to make. I will try to put up a future video showing how I made this, as well. Those little trees on the card are the adorable Wonky Tree-o Die Set, which was released last month.

I hope these cards put a smile on your face today. Be sure to check out all of the other goodies and inspiration from the new All the Joy Release! And stay tuned for another blog post and video in a couple days, where I will share those shaker cards. As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog today.

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison
