Hello, friends! I hope you are all doing well! Today, I am sharing some really fun, colorful cards. They also have a unique twist, as each of them features an interactive element. I used the new Out & About Collection from Spellbinders for these cards – there are so many cute sets in this collection!

The main sets that I used for today’s cards are:

  • Mushroom Mansion
  • Luna the Seahorse
  • Happy Birthday Wishes
  • Flowering Tree
  • Hello Smile
  • Garden Buddies

Both of the interactive cards are featured in my newest video! You can CLICK HERE to watch it on YouTube, or you can watch it below.

NOTE: all supplies are linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.

My first card features the Mushroom Mansion die set. The three windows on this cute little “mansion” made me think of EZ-lights from Pear Blossom Press, since there are 3 lights on that particular unit! I have only made one light-up card before, and this one was much easier since I had more confidence. But really, it was quite easy! I kept the rest of the card simple, since I wanted the lights to be the star. Well, the lights AND the amazing Colorful Ink Spots paper pad from Pink & Main!

I tried to take a picture of the card all lit up – it’s a bit challenging! For the full effect, definitely watch the video! This card is going to a very special friend who just recently moved. How’s that for perfect timing?

My second card features the adorable Luna the Seahorse. I used the same paper pad from Pink & Main for my background. This time, my interactive feature is an action wobbler. Again, no picture can capture the fun of an action wobbler, so check out the video! Something else the picture can’t quite capture is the shimmer from the new Distress Spritz sprays that I used! These sprays are so fun, and I plan to feature them in a video soon.

This last card is not featured in my video, at least not the actual creative process. This was the first card that I made with the collection, and I really couldn’t decide between all of the cute products. So, I threw them all on one card and hoped for the best! I do love how it turned out, especially the colors. I used the Hello Smile set (for the smile word die), the Garden Buddies (for the bird and pink flowers), the Mushroom Mansion (for the snail and yellow flowers) and the Flowering Tree. The fun shapes on the card are from the Fresh Picked Labels and Tag Set.

I hope these cards bring a smile to your face today. As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog. Wishing you all a crafty weekend,

Allison
